How do I register for a meeting?

SDMPI offers online registration for all of our events. Click on the CALENDAR tab above on the horizontal menu bar at the top of this page.

How do I update my member information with MPI?

To update your profile with MPI, you need to notify the International association. They now offer an online form to do that. Click here to update your profile or copy & paste the link below into your web browser, sign into the members only section and make the changes. http://www.mpiweb.org/members/home/login.asp?req_page=/members/home/acgi_services/profile.asp

If I want to join a committee, who do I contact?

You may contact our committee chairs directly by clicking the Leadership tab and going to Committees. You may also contact Tamra Rutherford, Chapter Manager at 858-270-2103 or email her at sdmpi@rutherfordassociates.com.

Is there a New Member Orientation?

SDMPI holds new & prospective member orientations prior to our chapter educational meetings. If you are a new member and are interested in attending one of these invaluable sessions, please contact our Chapter Manager, Tamra Rutherford at sdmpi@rutherfordassociates.com.

Does SDMPI offer assistance in booking independent meeting planners?

Yes! Assisting our independent planners is a vital member benefit. Our "Quick Planner" placement service is found on our website by simply choosing Member Services on the horizontal menu bar on the top of the page and then choosing the sub menu item, Find A Planner.

How can I provide feedback to the chapter?

Yes! You may send a comment or question by going to the Feedback page and filling out the form.

What Marketing Opportunities are available through MPI San Diego Chapter?

SDMPI is comprised of nearly 500 San Diego area meetings industry professionals. Members include corporate, association and independent planners as well as a variety of meeting related suppliers. SDMPI has a number of marketing opportunities available for organizations wishing to reach this highly targeted audience. These opportunities include: meeting sponsorship, directory, website, e-Com and newsletter advertising, special event sponsorships, and in-kind donations. How do I make the most of my MPI membership?

Get involved and become an MPI leader. Start by joining a committee...it's fun and the networking opportunities are endless. Then consider moving through the leadership track. Chair a committee, serve as a board member, go for President! The SDMPI leadership track is an incredible way to develop skills that are transferable to your profession and build credibility with your employers and clients.
