What is a CMP?
The CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) is an internationally recognized certification program that evaluates the competency of meeting professionals.  The CMP designation represents the standard of excellence in today’s meeting and exposition industry.

Requirements for certification are based on professional experience and academic examination.  The CMP Examination is a tool for measuring the competency of meeting professional and is designed to reflect the knowledge required to manage meetings. 

The CMP Program:
· Promotes the status and credibility of the meeting profession· Advances uniform standard of practice· Promotes continuing professional development

Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in meeting management to apply. Application must be approved with a minimum of 90 points out of a possible 150. Pass the CMP Exam.
