Membership FAQ & Financial Aid

How to reinstate a member:           
This would be used for someone who was a member but missed renewing or their membership has 
lapsed. 
1.      They need to call our MPI International Member Care contact in Dallas.  972.702.3053
2.      The cost to reinstate will equal the missed months + 1 year membership.  So if Joe’s membership expired in July and it is now January, Joe will owe for July to January (6 months) + January to January (1 year) 

How to renew your membership:           
If you are a current member in good standing there are 2 ways to renew your membership:
1.      Send a check into MPI International with the invoice you have received in the mail.  Please make sure to put your name, your member # & a note that it is a renewal in the Memo section of the check.  2.      If you do not have the invoice and want to pay by credit card:  Log into www.mpiweb.org (username is usually last name and password is usually your MPI member number) Once you are logged in, below about MPI, you will see Your name>My Membership > Renew.  Click on Renew and you can follow the instructions to renew your membership on line with a credit card.   

Can I pay my membership in installments?           
If you are a member in good standing for 1 year, you may pay your membership in quarterly installments.
1.      Log into www.mpiweb.org (username is usually last name and password is usually your MPI member number) If you do not know your log in, you may still view these files, just skip to step #22   Click on “about MPI” (the far right box on the black bar)
3.      Click “Membership & Chapters” from the drop down.
4.      Click “Installment Forms”
5.      Fill out the form and call 972.702.3053 for the fax number for MPI International 

What if I lose my job and cannot afford my membership?          
MPI International is offering a limited membership where you may receive 6 months of your membership  complementary.
1.      Log into www.mpiweb.org (username is usually last name and password is usually your MPI member number).  If you do not know your log in, you may still view these files, just skip to step #2
2.      Click on “about MPI” (the far right box on the black bar)
3.      Click “Membership & Chapters” from the drop down.
4.      Click “Limited Membership”
5.      Fill out the form and call 972.702.3053 and speak with someone from MPI International 

What if I need to transfer my membership or release it to my employer?    
An MPI membership stays with the person who joins the chapter.  That person my transfer their  membership to another or release it to their employer if they leave the company that paid for it.

1.      Log into www.mpiweb.org (username is usually last name and password is usually your MPI member number)  If you do not know your log in, you may still view these files, just skip to step #2
2.      Click on “about MPI” (the far right box on the black bar)
3.     
Click “Membership & Chapters” from the drop down.
4.    Click “Transfer Policy” or “Sign of Release Form” 

Are you a graduating student member?
